It is one of the most important mobility projects in Lisbon. Our success in the adoption of Gira – Bicicletas de Lisboa – the bicycle-sharing service created by EMEL – fills us with pride and proves that it is possible to pedal through Lisbon. The resounding acceptance of this new 100% environmentally friendly mode of public transport by Lisbon’s inhabitants and its visitors is testament to the change in mindsets that EMEL has been encouraging towards making Lisbon even more of a joy to get around!
