We want to hear from you! Following Velo-city's proud tradition of interactive and engaging presentations, Velo-city 2021 Lisboa invites you to share your story, best practice, expertise, data, innovation and analysis to reflect our conference theme 'Cycle Diversity'.

The call for abstracts is now open!

Join us in Lisbon and play an active role in the premier worldwide annual cycling conference. Please make sure your abstract meets the requirements listed in the VC2021 call for abstract and submission guidelines and note that only applications submitted through this website will be considered.


The submission deadline is 20 November 2020, 23:00 CET.





Start-ups: pitch your ideas!

If you are a start-up or a small company in your initial business stage, Velo-city wants to offer you the opportunity to present your company to the Velo-city community in a 10 minutes pitch that will take place during the coffee breaks.


Submit your idea in the general call for abstracts and select the session type: Start-up pitch.

The Scientists for Cycling call for abstracts is now open!

In addition to the general call, Velo-city 2021 is also launching a specific call for abstracts for the Scientists for Cycling (S4C) sessions open to academics and researchers. The S4C sessions will be integrated into the general VC 2021 programme.


If you wish to submit an abstract for the S4C- sessions, please make sure you download and read the S4C call for abstracts and submit your abstract through the portal here below.


The submission deadline is 20 November 2020, 23:00 CET.
